New Product Development Manager with English and French languages for plastic injection

Important plastic injection company for cosmetics requests New Project Development Manager Objective: Lead the design, planning, and implementation of innovative products or initiatives for the company.

Requirements:

Ø Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position. Ø Education: Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Process Engineering, or related. Ø High-level Engineer, with knowledge in plastic injection, decoration, metallization, and if possible, assembly. Ø Experience leading Innovation and Development projects. Ø Experience in international companies, with production of "sur-mesure" technical parts, high volume levels, and high aesthetic levels.

Ø Experience in processes with RFQ (Request for Quotation from clients). Ø Experience leading supervision teams and multiple production areas. Ø Ability to have a dual hierarchical link (local & central). Ø Solid capacity for analysis, structuring, decision-making, working with clients, and negotiation skills. Ø Practical knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement & project management. Ø High adaptability to change and a constant improvement mindset. Ø Effective communication with technical, managerial, and executive areas. Ø Proficiency in SAP. Ø Advanced English and French indispensable. Ø Use of Excel & IT tools. Ø Availability to travel.

Functions:

• Project Development: Analyze the technical-economic feasibility of new projects and implement new production processes.
• Lead the development and implementation of new products.
• Coordinate industrial tests and process scaling.
• Manage indicators, technical documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Planning to ensure successful implementation.
• Direct the Innovation and Development team to ensure successful launches.
• Manage raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies for testing.
• Define and implement the product development and innovation strategy.
• Lead the development and launch of new products, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and strategic suppliers.
• Evaluate the technical, commercial, and financial viability of new projects.
• Leadership and Personnel Development: Lead, motivate, and manage work teams.

• Reports and KPI: Prepare reports on project development performance and measurements, reporting results to management.
