Service Engineer

Global System Support is responsible, together with our colleagues in the field, for supporting customers with the launch of new products and advanced troubleshooting. We bring our experiences from these assignments back to the development organization to improve future products. Between field assignments, we work in close collaboration with the development organization to build our knowledge for future products.
Job Tasks
You will work internationally as part of our field operations team. We handle, among other things, complex problems that have been escalated to be handled at a global level. Travel often occurs at short notice and varies between one and four weeks. Working in global system support is a challenge that requires technical expertise combined with a high degree of service mindset and customer orientation. You will become the face of Tetra Pak, and your actions and commitment will influence customers' perception of Tetra Pak as a company.
We are looking for you who have the will and motivation to advance to a specialist within one of our machine systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Continuous competence development on existing equipment and equipment under development to over time qualify you to take on a System Specialist role
- Field validation of equipment under development
- Knowledge transfer for newly developed equipment to colleagues in new markets
- Urgent, global troubleshooting using hand tools, automation tools, and theoretical troubleshooting methodology
- Participate in continuous development work and feed back experiences from the field through technical reports (in English)
Qualifications
You enjoy meeting other people and cultures. As a person, you are flexible, empathetic, and keep the customer's needs in focus while being able to perform in pressured situations. You have a technical education, but your primary strength is your technical breadth and ability to handle both theory and practice. You are technically curious and like complex problems. In our equipment, electricity, pneumatics, PLC controls, servomotors, and hydraulics interact. Within these areas, we want you to strive to develop your knowledge to an expert level. The job requires a driver's license and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
