ABOUT TETON

On a night shift, three carers can be responsible for a hundred residents, each behind a closed door. Teton tells them what’s going on in every room, so they know who to check on first.

We put a sensor in the ceiling of each room: an infrared camera wired to a small computer. The computer turns what the sensor sees into facts, like who is in bed, how fast someone is breathing, or whether someone has fallen.

We train one model in our office and copy it to every device, so every site improves at once. Staff get the facts through a mobile app on the floor, a desktop app for leaders and planning, and a screen on the wall. Around that sits the service: installation, onboarding, training, and a support chat any member of staff can use.

Around 10,000 care staff use Teton in care homes and hospitals in the US, Denmark, the UK, and Switzerland. Many of the falls we help prevent come from staff seeing what’s going on and planning their shift around it, rather than from alarms.

THE ROLE

As Teton’s dedicated Brand Designer, you will have substantial creative ownership in a hands-on role. You will develop our visual identity and translate it into the website, presentations, campaigns, events and customer materials. Your work will make complex technology easy to understand and its value tangible to the people who use and buy it.

You will be embedded in the Product team, developing a close understanding of our technology, customers and the realities of care delivery. We believe that understanding the ins and outs of our customers and the product leads to much better branding. You will work closely with Julius, who leads Design, and Chris, who leads Marketing, as well as directly with the founders.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Develop Teton’s visual identity across typography, colour, imagery, illustration and iconography.
  • Build a brand that is approachable for a care home leader in Texas, an executive and a family member, while appealing to the best researchers and engineers in AI.
  • Shape the website’s visual design, content hierarchy and imagery, contributing to copy and page structure alongside Marketing.
  • Create product visuals that accurately show how Teton works and why it matters.
  • Design sales decks and presentations, and templates that Marketing, Sales and Customer Success can use for one-pagers, brochures, training materials and social posts.
  • Design booths and supporting materials for the large conferences we attend in the US.
  • Brief and direct specialist freelancers for photography, video, animation and 3D. The core of the role is 2D design, with room to contribute to motion, video and 3D yourself.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years of brand design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, colour, illustration and iconography.
  • A strong interest in the product and its customers. You seek to understand how the technology works and how people use it, then bring that understanding into your design decisions.
  • Clear visual storytelling. You can make complex products and unfamiliar ideas understandable, including deciding which interfaces, details and interactions to show.
  • Creative ownership and sound judgment. You can establish a direction, explain your reasoning and build alignment with founders and colleagues across the business.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You can turn an early conversation or unfinished idea into something concrete that helps the team move forward.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

By the end of your first year:

  • A distinctive visual identity for Teton that you have set and the company has adopted.
  • A website, sales deck and conference booths that look like they come from the same company.
  • Sales and Customer Success making their own decks, one-pagers and social posts from your templates, without waiting for a designer.
  • Product visuals that show how Teton really works, which buyers, care teams and prospective employees understand at a glance.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A competitive salary and participation in our warrant program.
  • Substantial creative ownership and direct collaboration with the founders.
  • The opportunity to work closely with advanced AI technology and see its application in care.
  • A hands-on environment with opportunities to learn, develop new skills and take on responsibility.

WORKING AT TETON

We are a growing team with high expectations for the quality and impact of our work. Priorities evolve quickly, and everyone contributes directly to solving problems.

You will have the freedom to bring a point of view, test ideas and shape your work. In return, we expect initiative, accountability and a willingness to learn. We value people who collaborate openly, take ownership and care about the long-term impact of what we are building.

HOW TO APPLY

Please include a link to your portfolio or personal website. We would particularly like to see a project where you turned an unclear or complex idea into a clear visual expression, along with a brief explanation of your role and approach.

Include a few lines on what you would explore first about Teton’s visual identity and why.
