As part of the development of our machine solutions by the Products & Equipment team, TESTIA is looking for an experienced NDT technician or engineer specializing in Ultrasonics.

At the crossroads of innovation and engineering, you will work in close collaboration with our software and mechanical development teams, as well as our external partners. Your role? To specify, validate, and support the deployment of our cutting-edge NDT solutions, while providing your expertise on the choice of the most suitable inspection methods for complex materials and configurations.

Your daily missions are:

  • Non-destructive investigations on new materials, processes, or structures to determine their inspectability based on acceptance criteria and industrial constraints
  • Participation in the definition of relevant and high-performance new turnkey solutions, based on the analysis of our customers' needs
  • Participation in writing technical offers
  • Support in drafting technical specifications
  • Participation in and monitoring of assembly and mounting phases
  • Development at our partners' sites
  • Validation and qualification
  • Commissioning at our customers' sites
  • Support in upskilling more junior colleagues
  • Participation in maintenance
  • Technical support to other Departments and external customers (France and/or abroad)
  • Drafting of test reports, manuals, or result presentations
  • Technological monitoring and evaluation of the capabilities of new technologies.

Training / Experience: Technician or Engineer with solid industrial field experience in NDT (>5 years), ideally certified (or with an equivalent level) in multi-element Ultrasonics. You have serious experience in inspection applications for metallic and composite parts. A level 3 certification in ultrasonics (UT3), active or past, would be a plus. You also ideally have knowledge of other NDT methods (Eddy currents or IR thermography, for example).

A good level of English, both written and spoken, is necessary. Travel (France/Abroad) is to be expected for customer support. A good level of English is therefore a serious asset. Excellent ability to analyze technical customer needs, proactive in making proposals, curious, dynamic, autonomous, organized, and rigorous, you are capable of managing several projects in parallel while managing priorities.
