TESTIA, a subsidiary of the Airbus group, has specialized in Non-Destructive Testing for the aeronautical and space industries for over 30 years.
We work with our clients through inspections, technical assistance missions, or specialized training for contractors and their suppliers, as well as for airlines and MRO.
Mission context:
As part of the expansion of its non-destructive testing activities, and more particularly in the field of aeronautical maintenance and manufacturing in France and abroad, TESTIA is looking for NDT technicians to join an Operational Preparation for Employment (POE) program.
Missions and objectives of the position:
In direct collaboration with a team of NDT technicians, and depending on your activities within the team, your main missions consist of:
- Performing non-destructive testing on disassembled maintenance and/or manufacturing aircraft parts or aircraft components in our workshops or at the client's site,
- Writing operating procedures for the implementation of the required testing,
- Writing inspection reports containing the results, the decision, and certifying the conformity of the component according to the specified acceptance criteria,
- Participating in the team's skill development through training and certification in other NDT activities.
Our company will take charge of your theoretical and practical training to obtain the COFREND/FRANDTB certifications necessary to progress in this profession.
Skills sought:
Bac + 2/3 in one of the following fields: Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Materials, Physical Measurements, Mechanics, Aeronautical Maintenance, Electrotechnics; you may optionally have a first professional experience in NDT.
Intermediate English (written) allowing you to work on client specifications in English. Driving license B required.
Dynamic, flexible, organized, rigorous, autonomous, you have a sense of responsibility and will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
Good mastery of IT tools.
Travel within France or abroad is to be expected.
Information about the offer:
Duration: 400 hours of training in Toulouse to pass one or more COFREND/FRANDTB level 1 certifications; if the certification is obtained, the POE will lead to a CDI.
Hours: day shift or 2x8

Travel to Toulouse is to be expected for training and certifications.
Travel within France or abroad may be considered in agreement with the technician.
Remuneration: Compensation by Pôle Emploi during the training period, then a TESTIA contract upon completion.
