What needs to be done

• You are responsible for the design of more complex, new assemblies and entire machines & systems (Line Owner) in close cooperation with the group management.
• In doing so, you participate in idea generation, concept studies, and process technology developments (including their realization) of our machines.
• In your role as a technical specialist, you share your existing design experience, methodology, and knowledge with colleagues who have less explicit professional experience in the corresponding technical area.
• Your tasks also include the creation of all documentation (such as bills of materials, order lists, or pneumatic diagrams) related to the design.
• Finally, you coordinate with sub-suppliers & other stakeholders within the framework of the conception phase and participate actively in national as well as international project meetings.

What you should bring

• You have completed your university/technical college studies in the field of mechanical engineering, specializing in design technology, or comparable qualifications.
• At the same time, you impress us with your extensive experience in the development of complex systems and machine concepts in special machine construction.
• You also bring sound knowledge in CAD (AutoCad 2D, Solid Works).
• Your initiative and motivation to continuously improve processes as well as to analyze problems in a structured manner & find solutions set you apart.
• You perceive traveling to worldwide locations of the Tesla Group as an enrichment of your technically complex field of activity and draw additional motivation from a dynamic environment & changing framework conditions.
• As a team player, you impress us with your organized & independent way of working as well as your very good communication with internal and external contacts - also in very good English.
