What needs to be done

• Responsibility for the technical and disciplinary leadership of a medium-sized team in mechanical assembly
• Monitoring of strategic and organizational goals such as personnel planning, vacation planning, overtime or weekend work, further development of your team, or safety instructions
• Ensuring day-to-day operations as well as project-related planning, organization, and monitoring of external assembly
• Timely and quality-compliant completion of assembly together with your team and the station and line managers, as well as the associated commissioning of machines & systems
• Creation of work and procedural instructions, reports, documentation, technical guidance of your employees, and support of your supervisors in the strategic further development of the area

What you should bring

• Successfully completed training as an Industriemechaniker or Mechatroniker as well as further training as a Techniker, Meister, or a similar qualification
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in special machine construction or automation technology, with initial leadership experience
• Goal-oriented, cooperative leadership style as well as the ability to motivate and delegate, also in English
• Communication at eye level with your employees as well as with your supervisor
• Sound MS-Office knowledge, a hands-on mentality, and the willingness to travel internationally
