Associate Manager Logistics – Parts Manufacturing (m/f/d) (Group, Team Lead)

What needs to be done
- You will introduce Supply Chain Management in Parts Manufacturing and implement it with a focus on process integration, digitalization, and sustainability
- You are responsible for the entire material flow (inbound/outbound) in the Machine Shop, including process optimization and risk management
- You will take on functional responsibility for manufacturing logistics across locations and lead your team both disciplinarily and functionally
- You will control and optimize material handling; you will analyze inventories, identify bottlenecks early, and report them to production control
- You will further develop logistics processes according to JIT, Kanban, 5S, and Lean and monitor KPIs (e.g., lead time, OTD, inventory density)
- You will operate digital tools (WMS, RFID/Scanner, ERP), help shape sustainable logistics concepts, and comply with quality and safety specifications (DGUV, fire protection, hazardous goods)
What you should bring
- You have completed specialized vocational training (e.g., Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik) plus further training as a Techniker, Logistik-Meister, Bachelor Logistics, or similar
- You have several years of logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, ideally in material management for individual part manufacturing
- You bring initial experience with SCM concepts or digital transformation projects
- You are proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), Excel (Pivot, data analysis), and digital solutions (Scanner, RFID, Tablet)
- Process analysis and optimization are your strengths; systems thinking, analytical strength, and proactive action characterize you
- Strong communication and coordination skills, good English skills, and willingness to travel (domestic and international) round off your profile
