Software System Architect & MATLAB Specialist (m,f,d)

We are developing and manufacturing innovative electronic solutions for international customers in all industry segments. For our location in Frankfurt we are looking for an experienced Software System Architect & MATLAB Specialist (m,f,d)to join our team. The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in MATLAB-based system development with a deep understanding of radar systems, mathematical modelling, and embedded software development. A solid foundation in mathematics and physics is essential for this role.

Tasks

Develop and implement signal processing and radar algorithms in MATLAB. Design and maintain system-level models and simulation frameworks. Develop and enhance MATLAB-based graphical user interfaces (GUIs). Create user interfaces for software emulators and debugging environments. Develop framework models and reusable software components. Build models using MATLAB Toolboxes, including: Radar, RF, DSP System, Signal Processing and Communications. Implement algorithms in MicroEngine Assembler and perform debugging using software emulators. Contribute to low-level software development, including assembler and microcontroller programming. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and optimize system architectures.

Profile

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven experience in software system architecture and MATLAB development. Strong background in mathematics and applied physics, preferably with expertise in: Radar systems and radar physics, Rotating antenna systems and Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Experience with embedded software development and low-level programming (Assembler, microcontrollers). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams. High level of reliability, resilience, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
