Transport Operator (M/F)

TERCIO and its Lyon office are recruiting for one of their clients, a road transport company based in Solaize, a: Transport Operator (m/f).

Your profile

• With a Bac +2/3 education, you have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in the transport sector
• Professional English required
• Knowledge of transport regulations
• Mastery of IT tools
• Reactivity, rigor, and good interpersonal skills

Your mission In an international context, within the multimodal activity, your main missions will be the following:

• Identify and select the transport solutions most adapted to client needs and operational constraints
• Organize and coordinate transport operations from end to end, from the loading site to delivery, as well as the potential return of equipment
• Ensure the monitoring and smooth running of transport operations, ensuring compliance with deadlines, contractual commitments, and internal procedures
• Optimize the use of transport means to guarantee the profitability and performance of operations
• Ensure the quality of services provided and contribute actively to client satisfaction and loyalty
• Ensure the administrative and financial monitoring of operations, notably the control of supplier invoices and the preparation of elements necessary for client invoicing
• Develop and maintain a relationship of trust with clients, by ensuring regular and high-quality communication
• Manage service quality and anticipate potential malfunctions, in order to prevent disputes and implement the necessary corrective actions
• Be a source of proposals in the improvement of processes, cost optimization, and service quality.

Good to know: CDI. 39h/week. Proposed salary: from 30K€ gross annual + benefits (Performance bonus, profit sharing, participation)
