Aftersales Engineer Tractors Belgium

To strengthen our office in Gent, we are looking for an Aftersales Engineer who is responsible for analyzing bottlenecks in our processes and implementing structural improvements.

What will you do?

As an Aftersales Engineer, you will fulfill a key technical role within the organization, with a primary focus on analyzing problems and initiating and implementing structural improvements.

In this position, you will deal with diverse and often new technical issues. This requires a high degree of accuracy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to set priorities under time pressure.

Within this role, you will have a high degree of autonomy, determining your own activities based on urgency. You will independently determine the approach and make decisions within the applicable company guidelines. Additionally, the Aftersales Engineer acts as an advisor to other departments, coordinating with management and actively contributing to optimal internal cooperation.

The role requires intensive consultation, providing advice, and the ability to persuade colleagues within different departments. Effective information exchange is crucial for achieving a successful execution of the activities.

Who are you and what do you bring?

Completed technical higher professional education (HBO/HTS level) or demonstrably equivalent working and thinking level;

Thorough knowledge of automotive technology and components from suppliers;

Familiarity with Terberg products and relevant software applications (e.g., TIMS);

Active willingness to keep professional knowledge up to date via literature and technical sources;

Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written;

Command of the German language is a plus.
