Your tasks

As a Technical Writer at Terberg Machines, you will dive into the complex technology of our loading systems. You will discover how a machine works and translate that knowledge into clear manuals for users and maintenance technicians worldwide. All departments are located under one roof, so you have all the knowledge and information within reach. You will work with modern documentation software, interact frequently with engineers, and gather information from practical experience on our shop floor. Together with two other technical writers, you form a team. Together, you tackle one product family at a time. As a team, you map out the operation and write a clear user manual. This is followed by the maintenance manual, which contains more technical details about, among other things, service, adjustments, and troubleshooting. You divide chapters, check each other's work, and contribute ideas for the complete documentation. You know how to ask the right questions to engineers and production, and you do not hesitate to test the systems yourself in real life to make the information clear.

• Investigates how loading systems work and asks follow-up questions to engineers and colleagues on the shop floor.
• Writes and checks clear English-language user and maintenance manuals for various target groups.
• Collaborates with your colleagues on chapters and monitors technical accuracy, coherence, and comprehensibility.
• Builds documentation in Paligo and processes product changes in the correct manuals.
• Organizes the translation of user manuals into multiple languages using AI and checks the document structure and quality.
