Software Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, implementation, and continuous optimization of MES systems to ensure stable operation.
• Manage the MES development team, including task allocation, technical solution review, and project delivery.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Equipment, and Warehouse teams to analyze business requirements and design system solutions.
• Lead system integration between MES and ERP, WMS, QMS, PLM, and equipment systems.
• Drive manufacturing digitalization initiatives, including production traceability, equipment data collection, and quality management.
• Explore and promote the application of AI, data analytics, and other emerging technologies in smart manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in MES development or implementation within the manufacturing industry, with team or project management experience.
• Strong understanding of MES core business processes and hands-on experience in full-cycle MES project implementation.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Web API, and mainstream databases, with solid system design and development capabilities.
• Experience in MES integration with ERP, WMS, QMS, or other enterprise systems; equipment data integration experience is preferred.
• Strong cross-functional communication, project execution, and problem-solving skills.
