Systems Integration Lead

This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing organisation operating across multiple UK locations, where technology plays a critical role in the day-to-day running of the business. You will take ownership of a broad business systems landscape, ensuring critical applications, reporting platforms and integrations continue to operate effectively. The environment includes Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Sage 50 and numerous API integrations connecting internal systems with clients and third-party platforms.
This is a business-critical position, focused on maintaining, developing and improving the systems that underpin operational performance. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, acting as the go-to expert for business applications, data flows, reporting and integration management.
The successful candidate will combine strong business systems expertise with hands-on technical capability, including experience working with APIs, integrations and code. You will be comfortable reviewing, troubleshooting and enhancing solutions, including AI-generated code, to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the organisation's business systems and applications estate.
- Maintain, support and develop API integrations between internal and client systems.
- Provide user support and act as the primary escalation point for systems-related issues.
- Develop reporting and business intelligence solutions to support decision making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and greater operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements.
Skills & Experience
- Experience managing and supporting business-critical applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of API integrations, data flows and system connectivity.
- Experience developing reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI or similar technologies.
- Ability to read, review and troubleshoot code with experience supporting custom integrations.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
