Senior Delivery Manager

Up to £95,000 This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist data consultancy at the forefront of Snowflake delivery, leading enterprise-scale data transformation programmes for some of the UK's most ambitious organisations. You will take ownership of complex multi-workstream initiatives, working closely with executive stakeholders, architects and engineering teams to deliver large-scale Snowflake solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Your tasks
As part of a highly collaborative consulting team, you will oversee the successful mobilisation, governance and delivery of strategic Data & AI transformation programmes. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered in line with client objectives, while providing leadership across delivery teams and helping shape the future growth of the practice.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Snowflake transformation and migration programmes.
- Own programme strategy, mobilisation, governance, planning and execution across multiple workstreams.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including senior leadership and executive sponsors.
- Manage programme budgets, forecasts, resource planning and commercial performance.
- Establish and oversee programme governance, reporting, RAID management, dependencies and change control processes.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Delivery Managers, Architects, Data Engineers and third-party partners.
- Mentor and support Delivery Managers, promoting best practice delivery methodologies and continuous improvement.
Requirements
This position would suit someone who enjoys managing complex transformation programmes, engaging with senior stakeholders and driving successful delivery across large-scale cloud data initiatives.
- Proven experience as a Senior Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or Portfolio Delivery Lead within data and technology environments.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud data, analytics or transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms.
- Demonstrable experience managing complex enterprise transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and programme financials.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and programme controls.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across complex delivery environments.
