Senior AI Architect

UK (Remote) - Agentic AI, Gen AI & Enterprise AI -Up to £105,000 I'm working with a growing technology consultancy that is investing heavily in its AI capabilities and looking to appoint a senior AI leader to shape and deliver enterprise-scale Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions across highly regulated environments. This is an opportunity to play a key role in defining AI strategy, leading technical delivery, and building production-grade AI systems that move beyond proof of concept into real-world business impact. The Role You'll lead the architecture and delivery of complex AI solutions, working with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, define roadmaps, and implement scalable AI platforms. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys remaining hands-on while influencing AI strategy at an organisational level. You'll be responsible for: Designing and delivering production-ready Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions Leading architecture decisions across AI, data, cloud and MLOps environments Building multi-agent systems, RAG frameworks and LLM-powered applications Driving AI governance, observability and Responsible AI best practices Advising senior business and technology leaders on AI adoption strategies Mentoring engineers, data scientists and AI specialists Helping define AI strategy, best practices and the future direction of a growing AI capability. What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with experienced AI Architects, Principal AI Engineers, AI Practice Leads, Head of AI professionals, or similar senior technical leaders who have successfully delivered enterprise AI solutions. Key experience includes: Essential Strong background in Agentic AI and Generative AI Experience building and deploying LLM-based applications in production Enterprise AI architecture and technical leadership experience MLOps / LLMOps expertise Strong engineering foundations with Python and cloud-native technologies Experience working with Azure, AWS or GCP Commercial experience delivering AI solutions at scale Ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders Desirable Experience working within Financial Services, Insurance or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous. Databricks, MLflow and modern AI platform experience LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen or similar frameworks Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures Multi-agent orchestration platforms Responsible AI and governance experience Why Join?
