Freelance Payroll/HRIS Project Manager – Liege Region

For an international player within the industrial sector, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Payroll/HRIS Project Manager. In this role, you will take the lead on the optimization, digitalization, and harmonization of payroll processes within a complex organization of approximately 400 employees.

Your tasks:

• Auditing and optimizing the existing payroll processes and the interfaces between the various HR systems.
• Translating the needs of the business and end-users into functional solutions.
• Managing the entire project from A to Z: creating the roadmap, determining priorities, monitoring the schedule, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Coordinating the collaboration between HR, IT, HRIS, and external vendors and acting as the central point of contact for all involved stakeholders.
• Preparing the weekly project meetings and the monthly Steering Committee and following up on decisions, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
• Guiding change management within the local teams through communication, documentation, training, and promoting the adoption of new processes and systems.

Your profile:

• Extensive experience as a project manager and change manager within payroll and HRIS projects in complex organizations.
• Experience with payroll implementations, HRIS solutions, time registration systems, and HR reporting.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Analytically strong, works in a structured manner, and knows how to involve stakeholders at different levels in a change process.
