M&E Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works to ensure alignment with project schedules and requirements.
Interpret M&E drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and regulations.
Monitor and inspect M&E installation works, ensuring quality, safety, and proper execution.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and site constraints.
Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
Oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems to ensure proper functionality.
Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and necessary documentation per project and ISO standards.
Identify and resolve site issues related to M&E systems, minimizing disruptions to project progress.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E coordination for construction projects.
Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installation procedures, and industry regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other M&E design software.
Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems is an advantage.
