PERM Childrens Social Worker - Locality

Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client are looking for Children's Social Workers to join their Locality Team in Southwest London.

Position: Children's Social Worker – Locality Team

• Salary: £42,060 per annum
• Contract Type: Permanent
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Hybrid working

Purpose:

Working with children, young people and families across Children’s Social Care, completing assessments, planning and interventions to promote safety and positive outcomes. The Locality Teams support children living at home under Section 17 and Section 47 plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completing assessments, SMART plans and direct work with children and families.
• Managing cases under Section 17 and Section 47 frameworks.
• Coordinating multi-agency plans, interventions and meetings.
• Working with families and partner agencies to safeguard children and improve outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualifying experience, within a UK regulated authority.
• Previous experience within Children’s Services, including assessment and direct work.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, statutory social work functions and relevant procedures.
