Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Development, design, and 3D/2D detailing of metal and plastic components as well as assemblies for existing and new sensor products
• Participation in the project organization & planning of the design-relevant work packages
• Independent execution of the required technical calculations
• Product verification in relation to the specifications, ensuring mechanical integrity in the overall assembly
• Creation of FMEAs, test plans, and the execution of development-accompanying tests
• Support for electrical engineers in the selection and design of electromechanical components such as connectors and PCB design
• Creation of production documents such as drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies (Dip. Ing/Master) in the field of mechanical engineering with a specialization in product development, development and design, or automation technology
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Technical vocational training desirable
• Good IT skills, preferably Autodesk Inventor and MS-Office
• English skills at C2 level
• Good communication skills
• Strong technical understanding, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility
