Job Title: Self-Employed Financial Adviser

Location: Leamington Spa / Remote Salary: Self-Employed – Earnings structure to be discussed based on experience.

About the Company:

A rapidly growing and ambitious financial planning business is looking to appoint an experienced Self-Employed Financial Adviser to join its expanding team.

The business is currently experiencing significant growth and is taking over a large number of group firms, creating exciting opportunities for experienced Advisers to grow their client bank and develop their existing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Adviser with an existing AUM and client bank who is looking for the infrastructure, support and growth opportunities of an expanding financial planning business.

The company has an ambitious and close-knit team and places a strong emphasis on culture, collaboration and supporting its Advisers. The business is continuing to develop its infrastructure and team to support its ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing an existing client bank
  • Conducting client reviews and identifying opportunities to meet clients’ financial objectives
  • Providing advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning and wider financial planning
  • Maintaining and developing existing AUM
  • Identifying opportunities to grow AUM through new and existing client relationships
  • Managing the full advice process from initial client meeting through to implementation
  • Ensuring all advice is compliant and meets regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with the wider team, including Administrators and Paraplanners
  • Contributing to the continued growth and development of the business

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified – essential
  • Experienced Financial Adviser with a strong track record within financial planning
  • Existing AUM
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and retirement planning
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ambitious and keen to take advantage of significant business growth

Desirable Skills:

  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status
  • Experience managing a high-value client bank
  • Strong track record of AUM/FUM growth
  • Experience within an IFA or wealth management environment
  • Existing professional connections and referral networks
  • Experience working within a self-employed adviser model
