We are looking for a hands-on Restaurant Supervisor to help lead daily floor operations, support the management team, and uphold the high standards of service and hospitality that define the temper. experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day floor operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during each shift
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate service crew to deliver consistent, attentive guest experiences
  • Support the Restaurant Manager with rostering, shift planning, and manpower allocation
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings, including menu, wine, and promotion updates
  • Monitor service standards, table turnover, and guest flow, stepping in to support the floor during peak periods
  • Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally and promptly, escalating where necessary
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members, including wine service and hospitality standards
  • Support inventory management, stock counts, and ordering for the floor and bar as required
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing (including liquor licensing), and workplace safety regulations
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash/POS reconciliation, and daily reporting
  • Work closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to ensure seamless cross-department coordination

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in F&B service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity
  • Prior experience in a wine bar, fine dining, or lounge concept preferred; wine knowledge/WSET certification not necessary
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team under pressure
  • Excellent guest service orientation and communication skills
  • Familiar with POS systems and basic inventory/stock management
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • A team player who is hands-on, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment
