Trainee Store-keeper
Your tasks
You will manage daily warehouse operations by handling shipments, verifying stock, packing and labeling goods, and ensuring accurate loading and unloading to maintain inventory quality and order.
- Execute daily warehouse operations to maintain smooth workflow and inventory accuracy
- Verify stock counts and cross-check packing lists to ensure shipment accuracy
- Handle and organize incoming and outgoing shipments to optimize storage and dispatch
- Pack and label goods accurately to meet shipment and inventory standards
- Load and unload containers and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Receive and process incoming goods, including stock and raw materials, ensuring proper documentation
- Inspect received goods to confirm they are in good condition and correctly ordered
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned to support warehouse operations
Requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid forklift license to operate warehouse machinery safely
- Demonstrate physical fitness to carry loads up to 10 kg as part of manual handling tasks
- Understand and communicate using simple English to follow instructions and coordinate tasks
