Manufacturing Supervisor, $5,500 (Tuas)

Salary: $4,500 – $5,500 (Negotiable based on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm Location: Tuas South

Our client is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production operations, manpower and manufacturing performance. Candidates with experience in Aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production operators to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
• Plan and coordinate manpower, machines and resources according to production schedules.
• Monitor and drive production KPIs, including OEE, productivity and manufacturing throughput.
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for production, machines, tooling and equipment issues.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are carried out according to work instructions, quality and safety requirements.
• Participate in NCR investigations, rework and corrective actions together with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Support First Article, prototype/new process activities and customer/regulatory audits.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6Sand Continuous Improvement activities within the production area.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Train, cross-train, guide and mentor production operators.
• Support machine/equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage of production equipment and tooling.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of manufacturing/production supervisory experience, preferably managing production operators.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, APIand/or AS9100D would be advantageous.
• Experience with OEE/KPI, Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S and Continuous Improvement.
• Familiar with production troubleshooting, NCR/corrective actions and manufacturing audits.
• Experience using ERP/manufacturing systems such as Oracle, M3 or similar systems would be advantageous.
• Rubber moulding / press moulding experience would be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, people management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple production priorities.
