Facultative Reinsurance Broker

Your tasks

• Manage and develop facultative reinsurance accounts, primarily across Southeast Asia.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and reinsurers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the existing client portfolio.
• Handle facultative reinsurance placements, including risk assessment, quotations, negotiations and renewals.
• Analyse client requirements and structure suitable reinsurance solutions.
• Monitor market developments, pricing trends and underwriting conditions.
• Ensure timely account servicing, documentation and compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related discipline.
• 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in facultative reinsurance broking.
• Strong hands-on experience in facultative reinsurance placements and account management.
• Good knowledge of international reinsurance markets, particularly Southeast Asia.
• Established relationships with insurers, reinsurers or corporate clients would be advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to independently manage facultative accounts and develop new business.
