Experienced Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Facilitator Engagement Type: Project-Based / Freelance Duration: 4-hr discussion (including pre/post prep and 2-hr active facilitation) Date/Place: To be confirmed Role Overview We are seeking experienced Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Facilitators to lead structured discussions and workshops involving senior professionals, industry experts, and business leaders. The ideal candidates should possess strong facilitation skills, be comfortable engaging with technical or industry-specific subject matter, and be able to encourage meaningful participation while keeping discussions focused on the intended objectives. Key Responsibilities Plan and facilitate focus group discussions, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions. Guide structured discussions on technical, business, or industry-specific topics. Engage senior professionals, executives, and industry leaders to gather insights, perspectives, and feedback. Encourage balanced participation, manage differing viewpoints, and ensure discussions remain productive and on track. Ask probing questions to clarify responses and draw out deeper insights. Maintain a neutral and professional approach throughout discussions. Work with project teams to understand discussion objectives, key questions, and expected outcomes. Collaborate with professional notetakers to ensure key discussion points, observations, and insights are accurately captured. Requirements Minimum 3–5 years of experience facilitating workshops, focus group discussions, or stakeholder engagement sessions. Proven experience facilitating discussions involving senior professionals, industry leaders, executives, or other experienced stakeholders. Experience handling technical subject matter or industry-specific discussions is highly preferred. Strong communication, active listening, questioning, and group management skills. Ability to synthesise different viewpoints and guide discussions towards meaningful outcomes.
