Bioimaging Facility: Microscopy Technologist

A Microscopy Technologist position is available in the Bioimaging Facility. The successful candidate will support laboratory researchers in various microscopy applications and may also be actively involved in some collaborative projects as a major contributor if possible. Duties and responsibilities: Perform regular upkeep of microscopes and related equipment Monitor user compliance with microscope usage guidelines and safety requirements Conduct microscopy training for new users Provide technical support to users during their microscope sessions Liaise with vendors and service engineers for microscopy maintenance and servicing Support administrative process and documentation for smooth facility operations Perform other tasks/duties as assigned Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Life Sciences, Biophysics, Bioengineering, or related disciplines Good organizational skills and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Knowledge and experience in microscopy platforms preferred Fresh graduate may be considered (as an entry-level candidate) Salary and benefits are commensurable to educational qualifications and working experience of the candidate.
