Production Technology Engineer (for Mass Production)

TX aims to expand the field of robotics beyond the boundaries of factories and transform the essential structure of labor society.

At Telexistence, we are looking for a professional to be responsible for establishing and operating the mass production system for our proprietary robot products (setting production site operation designs, formulating delivery and quality standards, introducing equipment, selecting suppliers, and managing the daily operations of each of these functions). The critical role of this position is to optimize the three major elements of production and manufacturing: Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Job Description Production Technology:

Documentation of assembly procedures:

You will understand the product structure by communicating with design engineers and consider assembly procedures.

You will document the considered procedures to communicate them to assembly workers and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

CAD Operation:

You will also operate 3D CAD to grasp the product structure.

Production Line Construction:

Acting as an intermediary between the product development department and the production site, you will construct inspection processes for each production step.

Additionally, you will travel to mass production factories as needed to support production line startups.

Process Analysis:

You will analyze and confirm whether the production line is flowing smoothly and implement improvements as necessary.

Introduction of new equipment to production lines or modification of existing equipment:

While communicating with mechanical design and electrical design, you will introduce production equipment and improve productivity to achieve more stable product quality and more efficient production.

Improvement of Production Quality:

You will achieve quality improvement by collaborating with the QA department to set quality standards to minimize defects and improve yield, and by introducing appropriate process inspections and receiving inspections.

Requirements Extensive experience in creating SOPs used in mass production.

Experience in constructing production lines for hardware products. Experience in a hardware startup is a plus.

Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software design processes.

Analytical skills, attention to detail, proactivity, ability to communicate actively and smoothly with team members, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Desired Experience Experience operating mechanical CAD.

The work location is the head office (Heiwajima, Ota-ku, Tokyo), but it may change to other locations designated by the company. Job duties may change after joining the company. This includes changes in scope of responsibility, reporting lines, or team affiliation.
