Investment Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Investment Manager to strengthen our M&A team. In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and realize investment opportunities that align with our business strategy. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors to execute transactions with a high strategic impact.

As an Investment Manager, you contribute to the strategic agenda and priorities of Telenet through strategic investments and active portfolio management. In doing so, you stimulate innovation, value creation, and growth.

Your role as Investment Manager

• Identifying and assessing investment opportunities. You evaluate acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships that support our business strategy.
• Developing strong investment cases. You lead financial modeling, business case development, and valuation analyses for potential transactions.
• Coordinating due diligence processes. You manage financial, legal, operational, and commercial due diligence processes in collaboration with internal experts and external advisors.
• Shaping decisions at a senior level. You develop and present investment proposals and recommendations to senior management and the executive committees.
• Negotiating deal terms. You work closely with internal legal and financial teams and external advisors to negotiate transaction terms.
• Identifying market opportunities. You monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to proactively detect potential investment targets.
• Supporting integration processes. You contribute to the planning and execution of post-transaction integrations.
• Actively managing the portfolio. You monitor the performance of existing portfolio companies and work closely with senior management and boards of directors through an active board role. You support and stimulate strategy, development, and growth, and contribute to the execution of value creation plans.

Your profile as Investment Manager

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical skills with proven experience in M&A or corporate finance.

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategy consulting
• Demonstrable expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring
• Excellent negotiation and project management skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
• Fluent knowledge of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
