Automation Commissioning Engineer

Tekniq is looking for both experienced and early-career Automation Engineers for international projects. Customer projects are located in various target countries worldwide, and the applicant must be ready to travel (approx. 180 days/year).
Job duties:
- Commissioning of automation systems
- Systems include, among others:
Siemens TIA-Portal
Aveva Wonderware Intouch
Schneider EcoStructure Control expert/Unity
Occasionally: Siemens Step7, Allen Bradley, ABB AC800
- Testing of all signals entering the automation system together with an electrical engineer
- Testing of automation system functionalities
- Testing of the reporting system connected to the automation system
- Preparation and approval of commissioning and quality documentation by the end customer
- Creating backups and sending them to the plant supplier's system
- Weekly reporting during work and preparation of the final report
Education requirements:
- Engineer, Master of Science in Engineering, or Technician degree from a relevant field
- Electrical safety training SFS6002 (training provided if necessary)
- First Aid EA1 (training provided if necessary)
- Occupational safety card (training provided if necessary)
Other required qualities:
- Willingness and readiness to travel (180 days/year)
- Ability to cooperate
- Ability to learn
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions
- Good English language skills, other language skills are considered an advantage
- Travel experience is considered an advantage
