Application Engineer within Network Control

About the role We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer with a background in electrical power, software development, and SCADA. You will work with advanced systems for the control and monitoring of power grids as well as international customer projects. The role is suitable for you who have a strong technical interest and want to combine electrical power with programming, system integration, and problem-solving.

Your tasks Configure and further develop applications for Network Control

Work with SCADA/EMS/GMS and integrations towards other IT/OT systems

Develop and adapt technical systems according to the customer's needs

Perform testing and troubleshooting

Collaborate with customers and technical teams in international projects

Ensure that the systems meet technical and contractual requirements

Contribute technical expertise in tender and bidding work

We are looking for you who Have a university or master's degree in electrical engineering, energy systems, computer science, or equivalent

Have experience in software development and technical systems

Have a good understanding of electrical power and power systems

Have experience with SCADA

Have knowledge in C, C++, and/or FORTRAN

Are analytical and solution-oriented

Enjoy international and customer-facing work

Have very good English in speech and writing

Are open to international travel

Merit: Experience in IT/OT integration as well as previous work with Network Manager.
