Engineering and MASH Manager / Conversational English

Job Objective
We are looking for an Engineering and MASH Manager to lead the execution of engineering projects from conceptualization to delivery to the internal client, as well as to ensure compliance with Environment, Safety, and Hygiene (MASH) standards within the plant.
Main Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead engineering projects from conceptualization, planning, and investment through to implementation and delivery.
- Develop scopes, schedules, process diagrams, blueprints, and investment estimates.
- Supervise suppliers, contractors, and engineering firms.
- Coordinate quotes, comparisons, and supplier selection in conjunction with Purchasing.
- Follow up on project timelines, costs, quality, safety, and scope.
- Coordinate pre-operational and operational testing of installed systems.
- Perform risk assessments and manage scope changes.
- Coordinate the delivery and commissioning of projects with internal clients.
Leadership and MASH
- Ensure compliance with Environment, Safety, and Hygiene standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and follow up on MASH procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and compliance within the plant.
Optimization and Continuous Improvement
- Identify improvement opportunities in production processes, maintenance, logistics, quality, safety, and operation.
- Implement methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with different areas to increase plant productivity.
Management and Documentation
- Administer project and department budgets.
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors.
- Follow up on project progress, commitments, and disbursements.
- Keep technical and regulatory documentation up to date.
- Develop and update procedures and SOPs related to project management.
Requirements
- Education: Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Intermediate-advanced English, spoken and written.
- Experience in management and execution of engineering projects.
- Knowledge of industry-applicable regulations, safety, hygiene, and environment.
- Knowledge of design, selection, and improvement of process equipment.
- Knowledge of automation systems.
- Experience in managing suppliers, contractors, and budgets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Offer
Salary: $55,000 gross monthly and benefits exceeding those required by law
