VW Group Quality Engineer

VW Group Quality Engineer

Education:

• Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Statistical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Previously having worked with the following clients: Volkswagen Mexico, Audi Mexico, Volkswagen Group of America / Chattanooga

Responsibilities:

• Participation in meetings with clients, escalation management, root causes, direct contact with OEM clients, and follow-up on action plans.
• Use of portals and systems for clients in the automotive sector, particularly those related to the VW group.
• Ability to coordinate activities in different departments such as: Production, Engineering, Logistics, Laboratory, and other departments involved in problem-solving.
• Availability to travel or provide support at client facilities when necessary.

Knowledge in:

• IATF16949
• VDA 6.3
• VDA MLA
• Formel Q
• Problem Solving
• 8D
• 5 Why
• Intermediate - Advanced Excel

Analysis of KPIs such as:

• PPM
• Customer claims
• Debits
• Action plans for improvement

Languages:

• Intermediate - Advanced English.
