Delivery Lead/Technology Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead / Technology Project Manager to lead and manage technology initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully within agreed scope, timelines, budget and quality standards. This role requires strong project delivery capabilities, stakeholder management skills and experience managing technology projects within complex and highly regulated environments. Candidates with experience in the insurance, financial services or banking sectors will be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.
Develop and maintain project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies and resource requirements.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues and overall delivery quality.
Coordinate across business, technology, operations, vendors and other project stakeholders to drive successful delivery.
Facilitate project governance meetings, working groups, status reviews and steering committee updates.
Provide clear and timely reporting on project progress, risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions.
Identify delivery risks and issues early and drive appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
Manage project dependencies across multiple teams, systems and workstreams.
Work closely with technical teams to understand solution requirements, implementation plans and delivery constraints.
Ensure technology solutions and project activities comply with applicable governance, security, risk and regulatory requirements.
Manage third-party vendors and technology partners where required.
Support change management, implementation readiness, testing, deployment and post-implementation activities.
Drive accountability across project teams and ensure agreed deliverables and milestones are achieved.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, governance and project execution.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
Approximately 7–10 years of experience in technology project management, programme delivery, IT delivery or related roles.
Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects within complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of technology project delivery methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies .
Strong project planning, risk management, issue management and dependency management capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
Experience coordinating cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within insurance, banking or financial services is highly preferred.
Experience working within regulated environments and familiarity with technology risk, governance and compliance requirements will be advantageous.
Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or Agile certifications will be advantageous.
