University of Rijeka TEHNIČKI FAKULTET Rijeka, Vukovarska 58, announces: COMPETITION for establishing an employment relationship

  • With one employee in the position Project Associate - Student Internship Specialist in the Career Center, for a fixed period (for the duration of the project), full-time.

Requirements:

  • at least level 7.1 HKO (field of study is not important),
  • at least 1 year of work experience in the same or similar jobs required by the competition conditions,
  • possession of presentation, organizational, and communication skills,
  • excellent knowledge of working with office software tools,
  • excellent knowledge of English in speech and writing.

To the written and signed application to the competition, the following shall be attached:

  1. curriculum vitae,
  2. proof of appropriate professional qualification – HKO level (condition under item 1.),
  3. confirmation of data recorded in the official records of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute regarding years of service (not older than one month from the date of issuance),
  4. employer's confirmation of the type of jobs and duration of employment or other appropriate proof containing an accurate description of the required jobs (condition under item 2.),
  5. proof of knowledge of working with office software tools (a transcript of grades or a signed statement will be accepted),
  6. proof of knowledge of the English language (a transcript of grades or a signed statement will be accepted),
  7. valid proof of citizenship (Croatian or other).

The probationary period is six months. Persons of both sexes may apply to the competition under the same conditions. Terms that have a gender connotation are used neutrally and refer equally to both male and female genders. Candidates whose native language is not Croatian must attach proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (level B2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Candidates who obtained education outside the Republic of Croatia must submit a reasoned opinion from the competent agency regarding the foreign educational qualification. Candidates who, based on special regulations - the Act on Croatian Defenders from the Homeland War and their family members (NN 121/17., 98/19., 84/21. and 156/23.), Article 48 of the Act on Civil Victims of the Homeland War (NN 84/21., 13/26.), Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Disabled Persons (NN 33/92., 57/92., 77/92., 27/93., 58/93., 02/94., 76/94., 108/95., 108/96., 82/01., 103/03., 148/13. and 98/19.), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (NN 157/13., 152/14., 39/18. and 32/20.), invoke the right of priority in employment, are obliged in the application to the competition to invoke that right and attach all evidence that special regulations prescribe for exercising that right. The aforementioned candidates achieve priority in employment compared to other candidates, only under equal conditions. Working conditions and job description:

  • provides administrative support to students, prepares and implements internship agreements, and maintains continuous communication with employers,
  • plans and coordinates the implementation of evaluations in all studies and in each academic year, develops and administers survey questionnaires for students and employers via a digital system, organizes and moderates focus groups and interviews with mentors and employers, collects, processes, and analyzes data on the implementation of internships, develops evaluation reports by study with recommendations for improvement, cooperates with the Quality Committee and study heads in developing action plans, monitors the implementation of recommendations and improvements in the next internship cycle,
  • participates in the organization of career workshops, connects students and alumni, and assists in communication with employers,
  • participates in the development and testing of digital tools for tracking internships and in the education of mentors.
