University of Rijeka TECHNICAL FACULTY Rijeka, Vukovarska 58, announces: CALL for the establishment of an employment relationship

  • With one employee at the position Project Associate - Professional Associate for student records and support in the Career Center, for a fixed period (for the duration of the project) with full-time employment.

Requirements:

  1. minimum level 4.1 or 4.2 HKO (field of study is not important),
  2. at least 1 year of work experience in administrative jobs,
  3. possession of presentation, organizational, and communication skills,
  4. excellent knowledge of working with office software tools,
  5. excellent knowledge of the English language in speech and writing.

To the written and signed application to the call, the following shall be attached:

  1. curriculum vitae,
  2. proof of appropriate professional qualification – HKO level (requirement under item 1.),
  3. confirmation of data recorded in the official records of the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute regarding years of service (not older than one month from the date of issue),
  4. employer's confirmation of the type of jobs and duration of employment or other appropriate proof containing an accurate description of the required jobs (requirement under item 2.),
  5. proof of knowledge of working with office software tools (a transcript of grades or a signed statement will be accepted),
  6. proof of knowledge of the English language (a transcript of grades or a signed statement will be accepted),
  7. valid proof of citizenship (Croatian or other).

Probationary period is two months. Persons of both sexes may apply to the call under equal conditions. Terms that have a gender connotation are used neutrally and apply equally to both male and female gender. Candidates whose mother tongue is not Croatian must attach proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (level B2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Candidates who have obtained education outside the Republic of Croatia must submit a reasoned opinion from the competent agency regarding the foreign educational qualification. Candidates who, based on special regulations - the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and their family members (NN 121/17., 98/19., 84/21. and 156/23.), Article 48 of the Act on Civil Victims of the Homeland War (NN 84/21., 13/26.), Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Disabled Persons (NN 33/92., 57/92., 77/92., 27/93., 58/93., 02/94., 76/94., 108/95., 108/96., 82/01., 103/03., 148/13. and 98/19.), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (NN 157/13., 152/14., 39/18. and 32/20.), invoke the right of priority in employment, are obliged in the application to the call to invoke that right and attach all evidence that special regulations prescribe for exercising that right. Working conditions and job description:

  • maintains records of internships in the system, monitors student progress, communicates with mentors, and prepares reports,
  • maintains and updates records of students involved in professional internships, enters and verifies data in the digital system and ISVU, collects and archives reports from students and employers as well as evaluation forms, technically organizes the implementation of surveys and focus groups (calls, applications, lists of participants), communicates with students and employers regarding the submission of documentation, prepares administrative documentation and data for reporting to PT bodies,
  • monitors student participation in career activities and maintains records of the alumni network,
  • ensures technical and record-keeping support during the implementation of new tools and processes
