Customer Service Officer - Golf & Leisure Venue
THE ROLE You are one of the first people our guests meet at our Golf Driving Range venue. As a Customer Relations Officer, you will manage the day-to-day Front Desk experience, including guest enquiries, bookings, memberships, transactions and service requests. You will work closely with the Operations team and other departments to ensure guests receive accurate information, timely assistance and a smooth overall experience. WHATYOU'LL DO Guest Service & Front Desk Welcome guests and provide professional and friendly assistance. Handle enquiries on facilities, bookings, memberships, programmes and services. Process bookings, payments, vouchers and other Front Desk transactions accurately. Operate Front Desk, booking, membership and point-of-sale systems. Maintain accurate records and follow established procedures. Handle routine feedback and service matters, escalating complex or sensitive issues appropriately. Support Front Desk opening and closing procedures and maintain a professional, organised environment. Team & Operational Support Coordinate with Operations and other teams to resolve guest and operational matters. Support events, activities and special programmes when required. Provide operational support during manpower requirements, within training and assigned responsibilities. Carry out other relevant duties that support the smooth operation of the facility.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experience in customer service, hospitality, leisure, retail or a related service environment is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Service-oriented and comfortable interacting with different types of guests. Able to handle transactions, systems and administrative records accurately. Responsible, organised and attentive to detail. Able to work independently and effectively as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills and a calm approach when handling guest matters. Willing to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Able to communicate effectively in English with guests and colleagues for day-to-day workplace communication.
