Landscape Maintenance Gardener
Your tasks
Job Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener tojoin our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the health, appearance,and cleanliness of landscape areas, including shrubs, lawns, flower beds, and indoor/outdoor potted plants. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work andis comfortable working outdoors.
- Plant Care: Perform daily watering, fertilizing, weeding, and soil cultivation to ensure optimal plant health.
- Pruning & Trimming: Properly prune trees, shrubs, and hedges to maintain aesthetic appearance and safety.
- Lawn Maintenance: Mow lawns, remove clippings, and edge walkways as needed.
- Horticultural Cleanup: Regularly clear landscape areas of fallen leaves, debris, and horticultural waste.
- Pest Control: Monitor plants for signs of pests or disease and apply treatment/pesticides under supervision when necessary.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers).
- Site Tidiness: Ensure all work areas are kept safe, clean, and organized.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in landscaping or gardening preferred. (Willing to train motivated candidates).
- Physical Stamina: Able to perform strenuous physical labour and work outdoors under various weather conditions (sun and rain).
- Communication: Ability to understand basic work instructions.
- Attitude: Punctual, reliable, and a team player.
- Certification (Optional but a bonus): Any relevant workplace safety or horticulture certifications (e.g., WSQ landscape-related certifications).
Other
Work Location: Changi Airport, and other sites.
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5pm, Sat 8-12pm.
