Product Tester

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• QA Documentation & Planning: Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and testing documentation while establishing testing standards for the team.
• Test Execution: Conduct functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across web/mobile platforms, alongside supporting UAT and release validation.
• Bug Management & Tracking: Identify, document, and track software bugs with clear reproducible steps and impact analysis to assess risk.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with PMs and Engineers in sprint meetings to validate user flows, edge cases, UX, and product logic.
• Process Improvement & Automation: Continuously optimize QA workflows, explore modern testing tools, improve reporting quality, and support test automation initiatives.

The technical skills and engineering expectations:

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Proficient in manual testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UAT across web/mobile platforms.
• QA Tools & Debugging: Hands-on experience with issue tracking tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp), API testing (Postman), web debugging (Chrome DevTools), and test management software (TestRail).
• Technical & Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of APIs, client-server architecture, database querying for data validation, and Agile/Scrum SDLC methodologies (with basic test automation as an asset).
• Engineering Stack Familiarity: Comfortable working alongside engineering teams in environments using Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

REQUIREMENTS

• > 1 years of experience in software testing or QA roles (Junior/Middle/Senior)
• Have a personal laptop for work purposes
• Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear bug reports and testing documentation
• Familiarity with web/mobile application testing
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and product workflows
• Curious and proactive - you naturally explore edge cases and ask thoughtful questions
• Strong ownership - you follow issues through until resolution
• Collaborative by default - you communicate clearly with Product and Engineering teams
• User-focused - you care deeply about delivering smooth and reliable user experiences
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities
