- Invoice generation and billing documentation management; create and send invoices to customers accurately and timely.
- Account reconciliation; link payments with invoice numbers or sales orders; handle customer inquiries regarding billing issues; manage the accounts receivable subsidiary ledger.
- Process payments and record them against the corresponding invoice, as well as generate and record invoices in the accounting software.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for companies operating abroad.
- Prepare credit review files for customer accounts, including credit reports, financial statements, credit ratings, third-party references, payment history, etc.
- Recommend appropriate credit limits to meet business needs within acceptable risk levels.
- Periodically review the credit portfolio and individual customer credit limits.
- Perform credit investigations on accounts at the request of management.
- Review sales orders for release in accordance with company policies; report exceptions, violations, and errors to management in real time.
- Develop and execute collection plans for assigned accounts.
- Contact customers by phone or letter to manage invoice payments.
- Help resolve customer issues by collaborating with sales, customer service, and other company personnel.
- Create accounts for new customers.
- Perform maintenance of the accounts receivable subsidiary ledger as necessary.
- Prepare samples for audit.
- Participate in the monthly closing process, including the preparation of routine reports for management (accounts receivable aging, allowance for doubtful accounts, reserve for settled damages, debt write-offs, etc.).
- Collaborate with the manager on periodic reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Occasional overtime may be required due to business needs.
