Technical Architect Consultant (m/f/d) – Doors & Gates

Focus: International large-scale construction projects. This role is crucial for building and maintaining close relationships with architectural firms, promoting our door products, and providing technical consulting for international construction projects. In this role, you should have a solid understanding of the architecture and construction industry and demonstrable experience in direct collaboration with architects and engineers.

Your tasks:

• Technical consulting for architects and planners regarding the integration of door and gate solutions into demanding large-scale projects
• Support in the creation, review, and maintenance of door lists
• Technical support for tenders, including LV texts, technical descriptions, and normative requirements
• Creation of rough cost calculations to support architect budgets in early and advanced planning phases
• Provision, preparation, and explanation of technical documentation (e.g., data sheets, system descriptions, drawings, approvals)
• Continuous technical contact person for architectural firms throughout the entire planning phase
• Close coordination with internal specialist departments (e.g., Engineering, Product Management)
• Low level of travel for planning and coordination meetings in architectural firms

Our expectations:

• Technical or construction-related training (e.g., Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Technician, Master Craftsman) or comparable qualification
• Experience with door, gate, or interior fit-out products is an advantage
• Very good understanding of planning processes, tenders, and architectural requirements
• Confident handling of technical documentation, standards, and regulations
• Structured, service-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills when dealing with architects and planners
• Very good English language skills at least at level B2
• Good MS-Office skills, ideally experience with CAD or tendering tools
