The position:
As part of our clients' activities in the energy and nuclear sector, we are looking for a Methods / Preparation Engineer to lead the preparation and optimization of interventions on high-criticality installations.
At the heart of operations, you will guarantee the quality of technical preparation, risk management, and compliance with safety, cost, and deadline requirements.
Your responsibilities Prepare maintenance interventions (task lists, intervention files, operating procedures) Analyze technical needs and define necessary resources (tools, parts, human resources) Write and verify technical documents and preparation files Ensure the planning and coordination of activities with field teams Participate in scheduled shutdowns (preparation, monitoring, feedback/REX) Identify risks (safety, radiation protection, security) and implement associated measures Optimize preparation processes and propose continuous improvements Ensure the interface with maintenance, operations, quality teams, and suppliers
Profile sought:
Your profile Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in maintenance, industrial engineering, mechanics, or equivalent Experience in methods/preparation, ideally in the nuclear or energy sector Knowledge of highly regulated environments and safety requirements Mastery of preparation tools (GMAO, planning, technical documentation) Knowledge of radiation protection is appreciated Technical English required Rigor, organization, and a strong safety culture
