Our customer is seeking an experienced and analytical Data Engineer who wants to work with understanding and optimizing data transactions.

In the role of Data Engineer, the candidate will become a key person in the team, responsible for analyzing, structuring, and improving internal data processes as well as connections between systems. The work involves handling large datasets, developing efficient pipelines, and ensuring high data quality to support the business's needs.

The customer's vision is to take a leading position in the electricity market and build stable, data-driven solutions that contribute to a sustainable energy system.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze and understand data transactions between different systems
• Develop and optimize data models, pipelines, and integrations
• Work with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, as well as tools like DBT
• Ensure data quality, performance, and availability
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and the business to create effective data solutions

Necessary skills

• Documented experience with SQL and working with relational databases
• Experience with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, and Snowflake
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration
• Understanding of data modeling and database optimization
• Experience working with DBT or similar tools for data transformation
• Basic understanding of data protection and security

Meritorious skills

• Experience with Python or other languages for data handling
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience in data analysis and visualization
• Familiarity with working in agile teams and with DevOps principles
