Technoswiss is recruiting an Assembly Mechanic (M/F) for its La Chaux-de-Fonds site. This is an opportunity to evolve within an expert team in the exciting field of microtechnics and precision watchmaking.

TAKE CHARGE OF THE COMPLETE ASSEMBLY AND SETTING UP OF HIGH-PRECISION EQUIPMENT.

Under the authority of the site manager, you will perform the assembly of mechanical parts with the utmost respect for tolerances.

Your main missions:

  • Perform the assembly, mounting, and geometric setting up of mechanical assemblies or structures based on a drawing.
  • Participate in commissioning and after-sales service (maintenance) at customer sites, mainly in Suisse Romande (20% to 40% of the time).
  • Perform the wiring and connection of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Fine-tune mechanical systems and perform adjustments on traditional machines.
  • Perform functional tests as well as visual and dimensional inspections to guarantee compliance.
  • Pass on your skills and train new employees for the position.
  • Enter your activity times into CLIPPER and ensure the packaging of machines before shipment.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Training: Technical training related to the position. Experience: At least 3 years in a similar position.

KNOW-HOW

  • Reading and interpretation of industrial drawings and manufacturing files.
  • Mastery of fitting, mechanical assembly, geometric adjustment, and mounting.
  • Performing hydraulic and pneumatic connections; use of numerical controls.
  • Dimensional and geometric inspections according to tolerated dimensions.
  • Use of office software (Pack Office), Solidworks, and Clipper software.
  • Technical English and mastery of handling/packaging techniques.
