Fully Qualified Lawyers (m/f/d) (Jurist/in)

The TUM Legal Office is the central legal department of TUM. In a team of approx. 25 lawyers, we act as legal advisors and service providers for all professorships and other institutions as well as for all university bodies of TUM, especially the University Presidency. To strengthen our areas of work, we are looking for motivated and committed fully qualified lawyers (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time, initially for a fixed term of two years, to start at the earliest possible date. The areas of responsibility essentially include the following activities:
- Legal drafting, examination, and negotiation of various contracts and agreements, in particular research and development contracts, cooperation agreements, non-disclosure agreements, sponsorship agreements, material transfer agreements, grant agreements, service agreements, (data) transfer agreements, and purchase agreements, as well as works contracts, exploitation contracts, and
- Analysis and processing of legal issues in the fields of research contract law, general civil law, copyright law, patent and licensing law, employee invention law, EU state aid law, as well as information technology law within a university-specific context,
- Analysis and processing of legal issues from a wide variety of areas of civil, administrative, and criminal law, as well as the management of court proceedings and the preparation of objection notices,
- Examination of corporate and association law issues,
- Advising the University Presidency as well as the departments and scientists of TUM on contract drafting and all legal questions in the aforementioned contractual matters and legal fields.
You possess:
- both legal state examinations, preferably with distinction,
- a solution-oriented and structured way of working, a quick grasp of new concepts, and the ability for
ideally relevant professional experience in a legal department or law firm, interconnected thinking,
- a confident appearance and negotiation skills as well as
- business fluent English skills in speaking and writing.
- Service awareness and independent working are as much a matter of course for you as dealing with modern information and communication technology. A high degree of teamwork and social competence round off your profile.
