Where will you end up? You will work from Aalter for an established player in commercial vehicles with various locations in West and East Flanders.

In addition to sales, maintenance, repairs, and service are an important part of the operations. As a result, you will gain a broad view of commercial vehicles and come into contact with diverse technical challenges.

Job description

• You perform maintenance and repairs on vans and trucks
• You solve various mechanical problems
• You diagnose technical malfunctions and search for the real cause
• You read electrical diagrams and use diagnostic equipment
• You analyze problems and think beyond the first solution
• You participate in maintenance, breakdown service, and repairs
• You consult with colleagues when a task needs to be scheduled or postponed

One day you are deep in a technical diagnosis, the next day you are working on a mechanical repair. This combination ensures that you remain technically sharp.

You do not have to be a walking technical encyclopedia. Curiosity and a solid technical foundation will already take you a long way.We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with technical diagnoses
• Has a good mechanical foundation
• Can read electrical diagrams or wants to learn this further
• Thinks logically and wants to tackle problems at the root cause
• Preferably has experience with commercial vehicles
• Sees experience with vans or trucks as a plus
• Speaks sufficient English to follow technical training
