- Administering prescribed drugs and medications to patients;
- Maintaining accurate records of all drugs administered;
- Treating minor ailments within established clinical protocols;
- Participating in patient triaging to prioritize medical care;
- Counselling staff, patients, and clinical clients;
- Assessing patients’ clinical needs for nursing services.
Requirements for Appointment (Job Specifications) For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- A Diploma in Nursing (or a comparable qualification) from an accredited examination body;
- Registration with a relevant professional body;
- A valid practicing license from the relevant professional body;
- A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in a busy clinical/hospital setup.
