- You are responsible for the further development, management, and monitoring of the quality systems and oversee the correct application and registration of the quality processes.
- You meticulously follow up on deviations and ensure that appropriate corrective or preventive actions are taken, taking ISO standards and other relevant standards into account.
- You lead the Quality Control team, support and motivate your employees, and ensure optimal staffing.
- You monitor the quality analyses of the QC team and translate non-conforming results into concrete action plans for Operations.
- You handle internal and external complaints, perform root cause analyses, and coordinate CAPA processes together with the involved departments.
- You manage and update certificates and quality documentation and assist in the preparation and follow-up of, among other things, Declarations of Performance (DoP's).
- You coordinate internal and external audits and monitor the follow-up of any action points.
- You are responsible for formula management in the ERP system and process formula changes based on, among other things, the availability of raw materials.
- You initiate and support continuous improvement projects within the lab and the production processes.
- You are not only occupied with systems and procedures, but you are also regularly present on the shop floor to practically monitor and improve quality.
- You report directly to the Operations Director.
- You have demonstrable experience within Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or quality management in a production or industrial environment.
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a scientific field, such as chemistry, biochemistry, or environmental technology, or are equivalent through relevant experience.
- You have an affinity with regulations surrounding chemical products, such as storage, labeling, and GHS hazard symbols, or are willing to deepen your knowledge in this area.
- You have experience with quality systems, quality processes, and preferably analytical techniques within a lab environment.
- You are a committed and accessible people manager who communicates clearly, takes responsibility, and knows how to engage employees.
- You combine an analytical view with a hands-on approach and always take practical feasibility on the shop floor into account.
- You are strong in problem-solving thinking and can translate analyses into concrete improvement actions.
- You communicate smoothly with different departments and stakeholders.
- You have a good basic knowledge of English and French.
- You work in a structured, proactive, and accurate manner, without losing sight of the broader production process.
- You are looking for a long-term commitment and gain energy from the sustainable development and anchoring of quality processes.
