Coordinator International Transport Planning

In this role as Coordinator International Transport Planning, you will report directly to the Transport Manager. You are responsible for the daily management of three international planning teams and contribute to the further optimization of the transport organization.

Specifically, your role includes:

• You manage three planning teams daily: planners Germany, planners France, and the resources planner.
• You monitor the continuity of service and intervene when operational challenges arise.
• You ensure that the international transport planning is executed efficiently and with high quality by your team.
• You analyze structural bottlenecks within the planning and develop targeted improvement actions for logistics process optimization.
• You optimize processes around loading and unloading locations and contribute ideas for more efficient working methods in international cooperation.
• You strengthen cooperation with foreign branches, primarily in France, and align the planning with one another.
• You monitor operational KPI's and analyze results such as percentage of empty kilometers, completed trips, and return flows.
• You process reports in Excel and translate these analyses into concrete improvement actions for route optimization and transport management.
• You organize periodic team meetings in which results, bottlenecks, and points for improvement are discussed with the planners.
• You lead a team of 12 planners with diverse profiles and experience levels, establish training plans, and guide their further development.
• You create an environment in which cooperation, clear structure, and responsibility are central within the international transport planning.

• You have experience within transport, logistics, or planning, preferably in a professional environment with international transports.
• You are analytically strong and derive energy from planning analysis and improving logistics processes.
• You have a coaching leadership style and can manage and develop different personalities within a planning team.
• You communicate smoothly with various internal and external stakeholders, including your own team and customers.
• You have knowledge of German and/or French, combined with a good knowledge of English.
• You work fluently with Excel for reporting and planning analyses; experience with BlueJay or other planning software is an asset.
