The Company

Techloy is a technology company that operates in the media industry. We believe that hiring and training our people in the skills they might need for the role is important, but it's almost impossible to train someone to have a better attitude.

Founded in 2008, we are a young, vibrant, and creative team that is passionate about telling the most important stories in technology and helping people to understand what it means, why it matters, and how it works.

Our team possesses combined skills and decades of experience in tech journalism, business intelligence, social media content creation, web development, project management, UI design, digital marketing, SEO, product management, and data analysis.

The Person

Techloy is hiring a Senior Creative Lead to own our visual voice, turn our best stories into visuals, and make our videos impossible to scroll past, on every platform we publish to. The ideal person is a strong visual storyteller who can work across graphic design, video editing, and motion. You should be able to take an editorial idea and turn it into engaging content for different platforms. You should also be curious about technology, internet culture, and digital media, comfortable working quickly, open to feedback, and able to manage multiple projects independently.

The Responsibilities

+ Create editorial graphics, social assets, thumbnails, and other visual content for Techloy.

+ Edit and produce short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.

+ Identify stories that can be adapted into video, visual, or multimedia formats and develop creative concepts for them.

+ Lead the creative development and production of The Founder Room (TFR) podcast and Techloy docuseries, working with editorial and production teams from concept through to final delivery.

+ Work closely with the editorial and audience teams to develop content formats, campaigns, and recurring creative franchises that grow engagement and strengthen Techloy's visual identity.

+ Maintain consistency across Techloy's visual identity and ensure creative assets are accurate, polished, and platform appropriate.

+ Manage assigned creative projects, deadlines, and assets while keeping the team informed of progress and blockers.

+Track creative and video performance and use insights to improve content strategy and execution.

The Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in advertising, digital media, graphic design, visual storytelling, multimedia, film, communications, or related field.

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, multimedia, or a related creative role, preferably in digital media, technology, publishing, or a content-driven organization.

+ Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design and video editing.

+ Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.

+ Strong understanding of visual storytelling, motion, typography, composition, and social media content formats.

+ Understanding of digital publishing, social media, and audience-first storytelling.

+ Knowledge of content management systems such as Ghost, Microsoft 365, and project management tools.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organizational and time-management skills.

+ Ability to collaborate effectively and take ownership of projects from concept to delivery.

+ Drive, a positive attitude, curiosity, and a good sense of humor.

The Remuneration

+ Based on standards within the technology media industry, along with exciting perks.

+ Depending on skills and experience.

+ The salary range is between ₦4,200,000 and ₦6,000,000 per annum.
